What Oria is

Land ownership.
Not a financial investment.

Oria is a fractional vineyard ownership project in the most protected and prized area of Italy. Each member acquires a corporate stake in the Italian company that owns the vineyard in Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. Each share represents 100 m² of real land.

Winemaker Roberto Cipresso —Italian Wine Oscar 2025 and best winemaker in Italy according to Luca Maroni in 2006— cultivates the Sangiovese of your land using 133 clones selected over decades. Each year you receive your cases at home. Your wine. Your land. Your legacy.

"The Sangiovese of Val d'Orcia is not just a wine. It is time bottled, living culture, identity."

The wine of three terroirs

Oria was born in Tuscany and today cultivates vineyards in three exceptional areas of the world. Each terroir expresses a distinct facet of the same project.

Who makes the magic

The three masters behind Oria

Three world references in their disciplines. Every Oria product is born from their hands: Roberto's Sangiovese, Giorgio's oil, Andrea's balsamic. Three crafts, one single obsession: time done well.

Beyond the wine

The terroir of Val d'Orcia and Tuscany holds centuries of artisanal production. Alongside Roberto Cipresso's Sangiovese, Oria produces olive oil with Giorgio Franci and balsamic with Andrea Severi at the acetaia in Montalcino.

The master

Roberto Cipresso,
the architect of wine

Best winemaker in Italy according to critic Luca Maroni (2006). More than 30 years working in 25 countries. 133 Sangiovese clones selected one by one over decades of research in Val d'Orcia.

Cipresso developed the dissociation winemaking technique: a method that preserves the aromatic complexity of Sangiovese and allows the wine to evolve over 30 to 40 years. At Oria, that technique works on your land.
